Concurrent events focus on key topics and foster industry dialogue
Over three days, the show is to hold 27 concurrent events on supply chain collaboration, commercial vehicles electrification, the circular economy, talent development and automotive culture, including Southwest China market analysis from industry and academic.
One day prior to the show on 20 May, the 2026 Industrial Chain Supply-Demand Matchmaking Series Events – Changan Session was hosted in Changan Global Research & Development Center. Nearly 20 component and technology providers highlighted supply chain strategies and technical capabilities. The sessions delved into procurement between suppliers and regional automotive manufactures, boost efficiency and strengthen competitiveness.
The trade fair will also facilitate cooperation with events like the China Automotive Ecosystem Partnership Conference, focusing on the automotive ecosystem, vehicle modification, and trends in overseas expansion. The Chengdu-Chongqing Region Automotive Industry Chain & Ecosystem Cooperation Conference will leverage the Chengdu‑Chongqing Dual‑City Economic Rim for OEM‑supplier matching, with several vehicle manufacturers set to unveil new models during the conference. Carmakers, Changan and Jetta, will share their procurement strategies and requirements.
Additionally, two conferences will address the growth of commercial vehicle electrification, as well as charging and swapping infrastructure in Southwest China. The Southwest New Energy Commercial Vehicle Services Conference will study evolving user needs and aftermarket business models. The other Logistics Electrification Conference 2026 – Chengdu focuses on energy replenishment and cost control. Both events unite commercial vehicle brands, logistics firms and charging operators to discuss service improvements and business models, emphasising technology, operational and ecosystem collaboration.
Elsewhere, the New Energy Vehicle Industry-Education Integration Zone prioritises collaboration, technology enablement and talent development to promote advanced testing, diagnostics and precision services. Conferences also include the International Automotive Industry Education and Talent Development Conference, Elite Development Open Course, NEV Automotive Service Marketing Growth Training, and the newly added NEV Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket Repair Skills Training. Workshops will cover new energy commercial vehicle diagnostics and repair.
